SOME areas in Chirk were left without water after a burst pipe cut off the supply to some streets.
Homes near Black Park, Bron-y-Waun and Chapel Lane and other areas were without water supply yesterday from 5.30pm onwards.
Engineers arrived in Chirk and isolated the pipe to ensure water supply was restored as soon as possible, meaning most areas had water before the early hours of this morning.
Hafren Dyfrdwy spokesman Stuart Henry, said: “We had a burst pipe last night in Chirk which caused customers to have little or no water.
“Engineers attended quickly and were able to fix the problem. All properties were back on supply by 2am.
“We’re sorry to our customers in Chirk who had little or no water on Tuesday evening.
“All customers are now back on supply.”
