Chirk was full of festivities over the weekend as the town's Christmas Lights were switched on.
The town was full of people waiting to enjoy the annual event which is organised by the Chirk Celebrations and Lights committee.
There was also an opportunity to meet Father Christmas and Chloe the Elf in the Parish Hall, and later that night crowds enjoyed a firework display which coincided with the light switch on.
Pupils from Ysgol Y Waun performed a carol concert to a packed-out St Mary's Church.
Councillor Gareth Baines posted on Facebook: "A huge congratulations to the Celebrations and Lights Committee for their hard work and congratulations to the pupils and staff at Ysgol Y Waun for their fantastic carol concert."
