AN OSWESTRY man is to face trial after he denied wounding another man in the town when he appeared at the crown court.
Daniel Elliott, 27, has pleaded not guilty to attacking 22-year-old Edward Arnold in the early hours of October 27 this year.
Mr Arnold suffered a stab wound and needed treatment at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for his injury.
At Shrewsbury Crown Court this week Elliott also denied burglary at a flat in Trinity Court, Roft Street, where the alleged attack took place.
The case was adjourned until February 25 for trial and Elliott, of Beatrice Street, Oswestry, was remanded in custody.
