A HOSPITAL charity is set to hold a festive fundraising event.

The League of Friends at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital(RJAH) will host a festive bazaar at the hospital on Thursday, November 29.

More than 40 Christmas stalls of goodies, games and gifts will be available along with entertainment from school choirs, costumed characters, hand-bell ringers and the hospital’s Orthopaedic Male Voice Choir.

The programme of events starts at 10am, with plenty of time for shopping and fun until 6pm.

Parking is free and there is no cost for entry to the bazaar.

Victoria Sugden, League of Friends charity director said: “This is a new event for us and we are so excited to be able to bring some festive cheer whilst raising vital funds to support the hospital and its important work.

“The League decorates the hospital every year, with window freezes, decorations and a Christmas tree – this year’s theme is a white winter wonderland.

“As usual this event has truly been a team effort with many hospital departments helping out, particularly the wonderful estates and facilities team.”

Younger visitors will be able to enjoy a visit to Father Christmas provided by Cambrian Rotary Club.

Festive food will be available throughout the day in the hospital’s restaurant.
