Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at the Londis convenience store on Ffordd Isa in Prestatyn.
North Wales Police said that the robbery happened at around 5.35pm today, (Friday) when two men entered the store and threatened the staff, before making off with a quantity of cash in the direction of Prestatyn town centre.
One man is described as wearing a grey coloured tracksuit and the other was wearing a dark blue hoody and dark blue quarter length shorts. Both had covering over their faces.
Detective Sergeant Paul Terry said: “The shop assistant has been left shocked by the incident but thankfully no-one was injured. We are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity at the time or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area to contact police.”
“Our enquiries are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who believes they have any dashcam footage which may be relevant to the investigation.”
