A WOMAN who admitted being drunk and disorderly was warned in court about her conduct.

Fern Bethan Roscoe, 22, of Sontley, Wrexham, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Hill Street, Wrexham, in the early hours of September 22.

She explained that she had a medical condition which made it appear that she was very drunk when she was not but she accepted that she had been shouting and swearing and that her behaviour was not acceptable.

District judge Roger Lowe gave her a 12 month condition discharge with £85 costs and a £20 surcharge,

But Roscoe, who represented herself, protested that she was being discriminated against because she had a medical condition.

The judge explained that he had taken that into account when he decided to give her a conditional discharge and said the costs and surcharge had to be paid by every defendant who attended court.

But when she continued to protest she was warned about her behaviour and asked to leave – and told her that she could be held in contempt if she did not stop.
