MORE Oswestry residents have scooped a prize on the People's Postcode Lottery.
The four Chestnut Avenue residents have each won £1,000 for every ticket that they hold after their postcode, SY11 2QT, was announced as a Daily Prize winner.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson said: “What a great start to the weekend for our Oswestry winners! I hope they all enjoy splashing their cash.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised £361 million to date for 4,000 good causes across the United Kingdom and internationally.
Causes in the area, including Oswestry-based charity Qube, have received funding, and the next chance to apply for funding will be in January.
The neighbours' win comes after three Whitefriars residents scooped £30,000 last month.
