HUNDREDS of people turned out in Rhuddlan to pay their respects to the fallen.
The town held both a Remembrance Sunday service and took part in a special Battle's Over event at St Mary's Church in the evening where Côr Clwyd performed.
A parade left Rhuddlan Community Centre at 10.30am on Sunday and a service in St Mary’s Church followed.
Wreaths were laid at the cenotaph.
Cllr Gareth Rowlands, mayor of Rhuddlan, said: "There was a fantastic response from the community of Rhuddlan to pay respect to the fallen. It was heart-warming to see all the volunteers who worked so hard behind the scenes with arrangements and also to all the people who came and supported both events.
"I want to thank everybody from making for events such a special tribute to remember those who gave so much for our freedom."
Battle’s Over involved organisations and communities across the UK and countries abroad.
Commemorative events were held nationwide to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War.
