POLICE are investigating after a poppy display at a preparatory school was vandalised.
Poppies were torn down from outside Bellan House in Church Street, Oswestry shortly after 3am on Saturday.
Red liquid was also daubed on a sign at the building, which is the preparatory establishment for Oswestry School.
The Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Teams Twitter page posted an appeal for information.
The post said that two females were involved.
Anyone with information can contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference 0082S 101118.
