A HOLIDAY park near Oswestry has been named Best in Britain at an awards ceremony.

Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges in Gobowen has been presented with two tourism awards by domestic holiday company Hoseasons – including the coveted Best in Britain (small) title.

The park was also crowned Best Small Lodge Escape destination in the Heart of England at Hoseasons’ 13th annual Gala Awards evening – a celebration of the self-catering specialist’s lodge and holiday parks across the UK that have achieved the highest scores in independent customer satisfaction surveys.

The awards were presented at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales, owner Keeta Thomas said: “Being crowned Best in Britain is a landmark moment for everyone at Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges.
