A TOWN market has been hailed for many years of hard work.
Gareth Dodd has been named this month’s Trader of the Month by Oswestry Town Council.
The stallholder, who runs Dodd’s Smoking Supplies, has been honoured after serving the market for more than 20 years.
Councillor Paul Milner, chairman of Oswestry Town Council’s Markets Committee, was on hand to congratulate Gareth. Steve Watts, chairman of the Oswestry Market Trader Committee, also recognised the trader’s contributions.
David Clough, retail and events manager for Oswestry Town Council, said: “Gareth has been a stalwart of the market for over 22 years, attending the outdoor market in all weathers.
“He has excellent customer serve skills and is popular with his fellow traders.”
