A MAN has been charged on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a property near Holywell.
North Wales Police officers were called to Llys Dewi in Pen-y-Ffordd on Wednesday where the body of a woman was discovered.
A man was arrested on suspicion of murder following which the force confirmed the woman to be Teresa Garner, 46, who was local to the area.
North Wales Police announced last night that John Barry Garner, 51, has been charged on suspicion of the murder of Teresa Garner.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Mold Magistrates Court today.
Detective Inspector Chris Bell, said: “Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family of Teresa during this very difficult time.
"I would also like to pass on my thanks to the public for their support and understanding whilst we have carried out enquiries in the area of Llys Dewi, Pen-y-Fford over the last few days.”
