Chloe the Elf ready to bring festive joy

WITH December fast approaching, Chirk’s Chloe the Elf is preparing for the busy time of year.

Chloe has been working hard throughout the year in preparation for the Christmas period, including fundraising work.

Chloe has spent part of the year fundraising for a young boy in Chirk who was diagnosed with leukaemia in April.

Ollie Hudson, aged five, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, and Chloe has been selling raffle tickets for a draw that will take place at Ollie’s home on December 1.

Also on December 1, there is a coffee morning at Chirk Parish Hall to raise more funds for Chirk Christmas Lights that Chloe will attend with Father Christmas.

On December 15, Chloe will be paying a visit to children at Hope House Hospice in Morda where she will hand out chocolate selection boxes to each child there.

Chloe held a competition earlier this year with the winner receiving a visit from her on Christmas Eve.

Chloe’s mum Helen Pemberton said: “We ran the competition asking people to message Chloe explaining why they think their child is so special.

“There were so many entries and we found it hard to pick a winner, so we picked two. Both will receive a visit and goodie bag from Chloe on December 24.”
