Oswestry Film Society has announced the films for their Pride Season showing at Oswestry’s award winning community cinema, Kinokulture.

The Season begins on Wednesday October 31 with the 30th Anniversary restoration of Maurice (15), staring Hugh Grant.

Tom Brookes from the society said: “After such a positive response to our first Pride season last year and with the support of Film Hub Midlands, it gives us great pleasure to announce a second season in what we now intend to be an annual event.”

The season also includes this year’s Oscar winner for Best Foreign Language film, A Fantastic Woman (15), followed by the American smash hit Love, Simon (12A).

Rounding off the season is a brand new British film, Anchor and Hope (15) staring Natalia Tena, best known to audiences for playing Tonks in the Harry Potter franchise.

The final film will be complemented with a fabulous DJ set from Oswestry’s very own Vinylistas in what will be a great night of cinema and music.

A season ticket covering all four films is available for just £12 and on the door tickets are available at £6 per film.

“A season ticket works out at just £3 a film, plus you get a guaranteed seat for every screening.” added Tom.

“It’s an unbeatable offer!”
