An Oswestry woman has gone under the razor and Braved the Shave for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Jackie Bright took on the challenge in front of staff and customers at Marks and Spencer in Smithfield Road and managed to raise £1,000 in the process.
The shop worker said she was thrilled with how the fundraising went and is enjoying her new look.
"I'm absolutely blown away by the amount of money raised," said Jackie.
"Helen Hughes cut my hair, who has been my hairdressers for years and I'm not sure I'd have trusted anyone else to have done it!
"I'm so chuffed with how it went and people have been so complimentary about my short hair. I feel amazing without hair – and my morning routine is a lot quicker."
Jackie decided to Brave the Shave after a health scare earlier this year.
She went for a route breast screening which came back with some abnormalities. After a small operation and radiotherapy, Jackie was given the all clear.
"Other people aren't quite as lucky as I was, so I want to do this for them," continued Jackie.
