A north Shropshire artist will be hosting an exhibition in St Martins next week.
Jon Young will hold a solo exhibition of his coastal paintings at The Keys in St Martins, running daily for three days on October 10, 11 and 12 from noon until 9pm.
The exhibition will comprise Jon’s collection of eye-catching seascapes in and around north Wales as well as further afield. Featuring views across the Menai Straits, Jon’s strong, colourful images will delight visitors as they reminisce about the long, hot summer days at the coast.
Jon has exhibited at many venues locally as well as in Chester and Shrewsbury, but this is his first venture in partnership with family owned public house, The Keys.
Visitors to the exhibition may wish to take advantage of a homemade meal whilst admiring the views across the beer garden.
“This is a great combination of community collaboration and enables Jon to bring his art to a wider audience,” said John Smout, landlord of The Keys, who has welcomed the opportunity to host an arts event.
“We look forward to welcoming visitors to the exhibition."
Admission to the exhibition is free. For more information visit jonyoungart.co.uk
