A BANK Holiday Monday packed with entertainment was delivered at Llanfechain’s “home-grown” show.
Show organisers paid tribute to the high standard of entries across a busy field, as the bank holiday weather took a turn for the better in time for show day.
Musical entertainment was headlined by The Flatville Aces and The Hicksters while Shrewsbury entertainer Jester Jack Green brought along his “carnival of delights”.
“It was a great day day for the children, the model boat pool was very popular and people still dived in at the end even though it was a bit cooler!” said show secretary June Row.
“It felt like a much more home grown event this year as the school did all the catering which we’re hugely grateful for.
“We want to thank all the performers as well as the committee who worked tremendously hard.
“Thanks also to everyone who supported the event and to everyone who came on the day.”
