For fans of Neighbours, Jason’s Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat and all things Aussie, Theatre Severn has the show for you.
Jason Donovan brings his one-man show, My Amazing Mid-life Crisis, to Shrewsbury for adoring fans for one night only.
The former Aussie soap star and legend of the West End stage is celebrating his 50th birthday and with a wealth of tantalising tales under his belt, this autobiographical show will zigzag back and forth through his life in the world of entertainment.
Jason made his first television appearance aged 11 in a guest role on the Australian series Skyways in 1980.
In the episode, his on-screen sister was played by future Neighbours co-star Kylie Minogue.
His Neighbours character Scott’s role included an on-screen romance and wedding to Charlene Mitchell (played by Minogue), and helped boost the show’s popularity with British as well as Australian audiences.
There will be stories about Neighbours, Ten Good Reasons (Jason’s No.1 debut album), Kylie, Joseph, I’m A Celebrity, Strictly and much more.
Hear some new stories (and possibly one or two you’ve heard before!) plus some of the songs you know and love. A night like no other!
