Despite the weather, plenty of people turned up to enjoy the Co-op's charity fun day in Victoria Road, Oswestry.
There were plenty of games, activities and treats for visitors to enjoy and although there were a few patches of rain, store manager Sam Teare said it didn't dampen any spirits.
"It was just a lovely community fun day really," she said.
"We wanted to give something back to the community, so children could play the games and do rock painting and all have food from barbecue to scones, sweets and treats.
"We also had bags for our customers with freebies in.We raised in £150 donations from the day and that went to Grinshill Dogs Home.
"It was an enjoyable day and it's lovely to think the dogs will get some treats too!"
