The sun out was out for another successful Oswestry Show as the crowds flocked to the Showground on Saturday.
With many enjoying the hot weather, thousands of young and old were at the ground, near Park Hall, in what is one of the biggest events in the Oswestry calender each year.
North Shropshire MP Owen Paterson joined revellers who made the most of the many food and drink stalls on offer, while Oswestry town mayor Councillor Sandy Best was also on hand to enjoy the shows' offerings.
There was a good mix of food and drink stalls, including a nigh number of award winners in pies, fudge, cream teas and alcohol, with an Ellesmere-based gin business, still only fledgling after one month in operation, took home a first prize in the trade awards.
Also, the best of Oswestry's rural businesses were also there to show what they have on offer.
The show ring played host to some of the best animals entered into competition while crowds were thrilled by a motorbike stunt team performance as the sun blazed above.
