POLICE have been alerted after an early-morning car arson today.
North Wales Fire and Rescue were called to reports of a deliberate vehicle fire in Johnstown, on the layby that leads from Gronallt to Pen-Y-Cae at around 4am this morning.
A spokesman said: "There was 100 per cent internal damage and 50 per cent external damage to the vehicle.
"It is being treated as a deliberate ignition and the police have informed."
One pump form Johnstown attended, using one hose-reel, one breathing apparatus and one thermal image unit."
