A COLLEGE has raised a four figure sum for charity with a family event.
The fourth North Shropshire College Fun Day was held at the Oswestry campus and raised £1,000 for two charities.
The money raised will be split equally between the Isabelle Lottie Foundation and CRY for Matthew.
Attractions included face painting, dance displays, a tombola, raffle and animals from Walford.
There was also plenty of food on offer with staff and students from India, Syria and Romania all offering traditional cuisine.
Lucy Evans, the marketing and customer service manager at NSC, spoke of how pleased she was with how the day went.
She said: "We are also delighted to have raised so much to be split equally between both charities.
"We would like to thank everyone who supported the Family Fun Day and helped the college to raise the money for two great causes."
