International Festival and Summer School Piano week will hold its third consecutive summer residency at Moreton Hall School between July 23 and August 4.

Following on from the success of the inaugural Easter edition which took place at the school only a few months ago, the festival directors are thrilled to announce that the thirteen-strong faculty of international concert pianists and pedagogues alongside the world-renowned guest artist Stephen Kovacevich will be giving daily evening recitals at the school’s Musgrave Theatre at 7.15pm.

Piano week arrived in Shropshire two years ago and is a chance to experience classical music of the highest calibre right on your doorstep. With multiple residencies in the UK, Italy, Germany and China in 2018 this UK-born touring classical music enterprise is en route to become one of the major household names amongst piano festivals in the country and overseas.

An impressive list of performers includes the legendary Stephen Kovacevich performing on July 28, both festival directors Samantha Ward and Maciej Raginia as well many other award-winning concert musicians.

Tickets for all performances range from £7-£20 and are available for purchase directly on the festival’s website www.pianoweek.com/whats-on and on the door.
