CABINET OF CURIOSITIES

(New Vic Theatre, Newcastle0under-Lyme, Jul 18-27)

A PLAYFUL circus adventure for young children and their families

The circus show is about to begin, but one of the performers has lost her head for heights. Filled with courage and determination, she’s setting off to find it.

Asking everyone she meets along the way if they’ve seen what she’s looking for, can they help her find what she’s lost? Can you help her?

Step into the magical world of circus as three storytelling actors lead young audience members and their not-so-grown-ups on an exciting 45-minute adventure into a beautiful world filled with fantastical characters. Full of wonder and excitement, this interactive theatre experience follows on from our much-loved annual Tale Trail performances, created especially for audiences aged three to five, and offers a brilliant introduction to the joy of theatre – and circus!

Schools’ prices available. Call Box Office on 01782 717962 for more details.

KIRI PRITCHARD-MCLEAN

(Theatr Clywd, Jul 11)

Kiri brings her show 'Victim, Complex' to Mold ahead of her run in Edinburgh.

You might have seen Kiri on Live from the Comedy Store, or The Russell Howard Hour, or heard her on the Now Show, or the Newsquiz. Or maybe you listen to her hit podcast “All Killa no Filla”?

You might have no idea who she is and that’s fine too.

But what you all need to know is that she’s, very quietly been going mad for a few years and to borrow a phrase from Uma Thurman she’s been “waiting… to feel less angry”.

So, it’s time to talk about victims, women, love and lies. You might not even believe her, but she’s used to that.

n Tickets cost £6 and head to https://www.theatrclwyd.com/en/whats-on/kiri-pritchard-mclean/
