Glyn Ceiriog Rugby Club celebrated their 10th birthday on Saturday, June 9.
Ten years ago Graham Edwards, Einion Davies and Tegid Davies decided to create a rugby presence in Glyn Ceiriog with encouragement and support from the Llangollen Club, which they have now merged with to become the junior section of Llangollen Rugby Club with 65 members.
The team celebrated with a senior friendly between Glyn Ceiriog Barbarians against Llangollen, a ladies match between Llangollen and Mold and an exhibition from the under-8s team.
Over 170 people attended a celebratory meal at Dolywern where special guest Rick O'Shea paid tribute to the club's development over the years.
