The Chirk Court Care Home in Chirk is taking part in the National Care Homes Open Day event later this month, welcoming visitors from the wider community to meet with residents and staff.
The Care Homes Open Day event is a UK-wide event on Saturday April 21 encouraging care homes to celebrate the great work they do and the integral part they play in the wider community.
Chirk Court, which is managed by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association, part of the Pennaf Housing Group, will be welcoming visitors from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and have planned a range of activities helping to celebrate the 92nd birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.
“We always very happy to welcome visitors from the wider community and to celebrate the wonderful support we have from so many in the area.
We are having musical entertainment at 2:00pm in the Orangery with John Kyffin who is one of our regular singers and there will be refreshments available in the tea room,” said Mandi Southern, Activities Coordinator at Merton Place
