The team behind Oswestry's upcoming feature film recently held an open workshop to teach and recruit a local film crew.
A wide range of local people attended the event at the Oswestry Memorial Hall, including a surprising amount of students from nearby North Shropshire College.
A Media Tutor, Charlotte Williams, from the college helped to run the workshop.
"I was pleasantly surprised and humbled by the response from my students," said Miss Williams. "As a tutor of film it is incredibly exciting to see so many students passionate about developing their filmmaking skills."
Miss Williams, who is also cinematographer for the ambitious "Run For Your Life" production, spent the day helping the group prepare for life on a film set.
"Crewing a feature film at their age is a great opportunity and shows the commitment Rocking Horse and NSC both have to developing young talent."
"Run For Your Life" is being produced by Rocking Horse Studios, and they are still recruiting more cast, crew and locations in the Oswestry area. Contact rockinghorsestudios1207@gmail.com or call 07488340440 for more information.
