An exciting new young adult novel inspired by horse-riding in Oswestry's countryside was published last month.

Author of 'Rafferty Lincoln Loves..', Emily Williams, released this book in collaboration with the British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre in Lancaster.

All proceeds from the novel will be going to the charity. Emily credits her love of horses from her childhood spent riding in the Shropshire countryside and from hours spent at Park Hall farm in Oswestry.

The both witty and emotional plot centralises around modern teenage relationships as they fight to hide missing Champion Racehorse ‘Profits Red Ridge’ from the world.

The novel targeted at older teenage readers is available in both kindle and paperback formats.
