Footsteps Nursery, which is based at North Shropshire College’s (NSC) Oswestry Campus recently organised a Teddy Bear’s Picnic in aid of Hope House children’s charity.
The children brought their favourite bear with them to the nursery on the day, along with a donation to the charity.
The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and included jelly and ice-cream and stories for the children to enjoy after the picnic.
Bethan Hughes, deputy manager at Footsteps, who along with other staff members helped to organise the event said: “I would like to thank everyone who helped to organise the event.
"The picnic was thoroughly enjoyed by both staff and children alike and we have raised a total of £37 for Hope House and the fantastic services that they provide.”
