The hillfort in Oswestry
The Met Office has issued severe weather warnings for the region.
Snow showers and nearly minus temperatures are expected tomorrow. This may cause travel delays and rail cancellations.
The Met Office has also reported that some rural communities could become cut off with the possibility of school closures and power cuts.
Snow is expected to continue through the week with strong winds. The public is advised to take extra care especially on untreated roads and pavements.
