The future of electrical charging points in Oswestry will be discussed by town councillors tomorrow.
Councillor Paul Milner suggested the introduction of installing car charging bays last September and received the backing of fellow members for a feasibility study to be completed, which has now revealed the council would have to decided whether to be a provider of the points of a host for an outside company to provide them.
In the report by assistant town clerk Arren Roberts says: "The council operates a number of sites and therefore needs to consider the best location for an initial service.
"Given that the Central Car Park is the busiest and, probably, most used by visitors it would seem logical that this would be the most suitable of the council's car parks."
Mr Roberts added that the best location would be close to the toilet block.
