Oswestry's Chamber of Commerce may be set for a revamp.
The group has been dwindling since the Business Improvement District working party was set up.
Town traders' leaders concentrated on getting the BID vote set up, and attendance at the chamber dropped off.
Now, though, chamber chairman Mark Derham has appealed for local businesses to tell him what they require from the organisation – and whether it needs to change to accommodate that.
The next chamber meeting, on Wednesday, February 7, will be an open night and networking event, when the the main item on agenda will be: "What do you, as a member, want from your chamber in 2018?"
"We want to ask businesses whether they want to change the format of the chamber, the days we meet and perhaps the frequency of meetings," said Mr Derham.
"This is the chance for businesses to shape the Oswestry chamber."
The meeting takes place at the Wynnstay Hotel in Church Street at 6pm.
