Team Elite were represented by five fighters at the Lionheart Fighting Championships in Cannock.

Three fighters were up in the afternoon fighting at amateur level.

Charlie Timms, who at only 16 years of age made his debut against Brandon Mayfield, secured a comfortable victory in the second round with a rear naked choke.

Matt White was next up in the cage. A hard-fought three rounds saw the judges declare a draw.

Lee Davies made another impressive appearance against a difficult opponent.

There were three tough rounds of very close competition and he just lost out on points.

The evening competition had Rhys Butler debut in his first semi-pro fight against an experienced fighter.

Both fighters fought their hearts out for three tough rounds.

It was an incredibly close match and Butler was just edged out on points.

Their fight was declared the fight of the night, with the debutant looking like one to watch for in the future.

The main event of the night saw Ollie Morris defending his lightweight championship belt against a very well established fighter in James Price.

Both fighters came out aggressively in the first round with Price and showed some impressive kicking skills.

Morris was too quick to be caught, however, and showed his stand-up skills by landing some hard shots. Going into the second round, Morris piled on the pressure and Price was feeling the pace.

Morris then delivered some heavy shots on his opponent.

Price attempted to get to his feet but Morris delivered a knee and ended the fight in a knockout to successfully defend his title.
