Welsh Premier League
Port Talbot Town 1, The New Saints 3

GOALS from Steve Evans and Ryan Fraughan followed Alex Darlington's first-half penalty as The New Saints made an emphatic return to the top of the Welsh Premier League with victory at Port Talbot on Saturday.

Darlington opened the scoring from the spot to send the Oswestry side on their way as Bangor City relinquished their position as the league's frontrunners after succumbing to a late goal to pick up just a point from the visit of Carmarthen.

And TNS made the game safe after the break when Evans and Fraughan both pounced from inside the box while a last minute spot kick from David Brooks did little to take the shine off Saints' sixth away win of the season.
