NEWTOWN manager Chris Hughes has major doubts over winger Matty Hearsey for the trip to Port Talbot Town, after an x-rated tackle by Cefn Druids defender Peter Hoy last week.
“Matty has a bruise from the top of his thigh to the top of his calf,” said Hughes. “He is going to be feeling that today and we will just have to wait and see if he will be fit for the Boxing Day trip.”
Defenders Kieran Mills-Evans and Max Penk, and midfielder Matty Cook are also major fitness doubts.
