THE jury in the case of five men accused of violently gatecrashing a house party has been unable to reach a verdict and will continue deliberations on Monday, September 8.
Five men - Richard Rogers (19 of Bronwylfa Road, Welshpool), Sam Williams (20 of Gungrog Hill, Welshpool), Huw Jones (23 of Gungrog Hill, Welshpool), Huw Glyn Jones (19 of Orchard Green, Llanymynech) and Stafford Jones (20 of Llanidloes Road, Newtown) - have been on trial at Shrewsbury Crown Court accused of violent disorder at a house party at Harvest Moon, Maesbrook, near Oswestry, on December 14, 2012.
All five deny the charges.
Rogers also denies charges of dangerous driving and possessing a wooden axe handle.
The jury retired on Thursday, September 4.
