THE pantomime season is here again with a number of productions open this week, including the biggest show of all with 70 performances of “Mother Goose” at Shrewsbury’s Theatre Severn.

The Evolution pantomimes have proved a winner with many shows already selling out. It opens on Wednesday, November 28, and there are two shows most days, either at 10.15am, 2pm, or 6pm, through to Sunday, January 6.

Brad Fitt returns to lead the cast in the role of title role of the Dame, Mother Goose, Radio Shropshire’s Eric Smith is also back and Lisa Davina Phillip, Matt Dallen and Matt Daines complete the main cast.

There will be lots of audience participation again, plus spectacular effects and lots f laughs in this fun-filled show.

Next Friday, November 30, is the opening night for “Cinderella: the Fairy Tale”, this year’s festive show by the Louche Theatre company held at the Morlan Centre at Aberystwyth.

Written by Sally Cookson and Adam Peck, the opening show at 7.30pm with more on Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
