THE A494 TRUNK ROAD (GWYDDELWERN, DENBIGHSHIRE) (PART-TIME 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT] ORDER 2018
THE WELSH MINISTERS have made an Order in exercise of their powers under section 84(1)(c), (1A) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which comes into force on 27 April 2018.
The effect of the Order is to introduce a part-time 20 mph speed limit on the length of the A494 trunk road at Gwyddelwern, Denbighshire that extends from a point 19 metres south of the centre-point of its junction with the side road to Deunant Estate to a point 205 metres south of the centre-point of its junction with the road leading to Ysgol Bro Elwern in order to reduce the speed of traffic and promote pedestrian safety near the school. This reduced speed limit is only expected to apply for limited periods of the day during school term time.
During a period of 6 weeks from 26 April 2018 a copy of the Order and plan may be inspected, free of charge, during normal opening hours at Ruthin Library, Record Street, Ruthin LL15 1DS or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting reference number qA1308278.
