A FUN-FILLED day is in store at Chirk's annual carnival when it returns next weekend.
The event takes place next Saturday (June 3) and will be packed with fun activities to enjoy.
The carnival returned last May for the first time in more than 20 years, and is back this year due to its success.
This year's event will again be held on the recreation ground on Station Road between 10am and 7pm will include live music throughout the day, a Medieval jousting show, a variety of children's workshops, circus skills and hot air balloons.

There will also be dance and gymnastic performances, street food, an onsite bar, artisan market, fairground, and much more.
Advanced tickets are priced at £5 for a family of 4.
Individual adult tickets are £2.50 and £2 for children under 16, with under 5s going in free of charge.
