The New Saints boss Scott Ruscoe has one simple message to his champions-to-be on Sunday: get the job done.

TNS need just one point to seal a seventh straight Welsh Premier League – Ruscoe's first as boss – after beating Bala Town on Friday and will host Cefn Druids at Park Hall in from of the S4C cameras on Sunday.

But Ruscoe, who has seen his side drop out of two cups in a month, wants his experienced players to seal the title, and in the style he's come to expect too.

"Sunday is about getting the job done," he said. "I said to the lads before and after Friday’s game that we’ve gone out of the Irn-Bru Cup, the Welsh Cup so it’s time, with six games to go, to get it done.

"Let’s go out and win them all, keep as many clean sheets as we can and be looking forward. We’ve got an eye on Europe now and a place in the Champions League qualifiers, which is near enough done.

"This isn’t the end of the season ¬ we’re not winding down. We’re planning for July 11 and that first game in the Champions League. The players understand the magnitude of those games and what it means to the club to keep winning those titles.

"I think the players are fully on board. They’re so experienced, I don’t think there’ll be any nerves this week. No disrespect to Cefn Druids, but playing at home on the telly to win the league? It shouldn’t be worrying too many players.

However, that’s the type of complacency we’re warning against. Every week we say don’t let things pass you by, don’t get complacent, don’t do things that come unnaturally to you.

"The football lover in me would obviously like us to win it in the style we’ve had all season. We’ve played some great football this year, passing from one end to another and creating chances.

"I want to see, to see us put on a show for the crowd we do get as well as the people watching on TV. I want a win and a good performance."
