BASCHURCH rugby ace Graham Kitchener (pictured) narrowly missed out on the final squad for last weekend's Autumn International against New Zealand. The 25 year old was called up to the England training camp but not named in the final line-up for the defeat against the All Blacks. Leicester Tiger forward Kitchener has played for England Saxons - under current first team coach Stuart Lancaster - but has yet to win a full international cap. Kitchener was called up to the full squad as an injury replacement for Joe Launchbury and his father, Paul Kitchener, said his 6'7" son will take his chance in the national side when it comes around. He said: “It is down to him to impress the selectors and I know he will try his utmost to do just that and fully take any opportunity that comes his way.”
