The CHAMPIONSHIP promotion race is hotting up for the right to join Wolves in the Premier League next year, plus the play-offs too.

It would be nice to see a different name in the league next season. We’ve obviously had Brighton and Huddersfield this year and Bournemouth have stuck around over the last few seasons too. They play decent football but I’m not sure how long they will stick around.

Wolves will be a good addition to the Premier League, judging by the football they’ve played this season and there’s other big clubs who have been around the top division who are in the mix, such as Aston Villa and Sheff United.

Another club in the mix is Millwall, who are currently sixth, and while they have a bad reputation for their fans, if you look at it from a purely football point of view, what a story.

When was the last time they were in the top flight? It was a long time ago and I imagine their budget isn’t the biggest. Neil Harris is a club legend and is their manager and Steve Morison is still banging the goals in. It would be interesting but you have to remember that Derby side who ended with the lowest points record.
