Greg Draper's landmark four goals led the party for The New Saints as they swept aside Cefn Druids as part of their title celebrations at Park Hall.

Draper's four-goal salvo, with goals at the start of each half, plus a spectacular effort from Tom Holland, sealed a comfortable win to celebrate Saints' 12th championship, and their seventh consecutive title, sealed when Bala Town failed to win on Friday night.

The Saints took a fortuitous lead on seven minutes when Draper reacted first to a heavy deflection and he was left with a simple task to poke home his 100th league goal for the club.

However, there was an early blow for Saints when Connell Rawlinson replaced Steve Saunders on 16 minutes as the big Scot landed awkwardly.

The action, unsurprisingly for a team celebrating a title triumph, was all TNS and Edwards was next to try his luck but he fired wide midway through the half.

Ryan Pryce, in for the injured Simon Spender, almost doubled Saints’ lead on 25 minutes with an excellent curled effort but it bounced back off the underside of the bar and away to safety.

Minutes later, Ryan Brobbel thought he had given Saints a second but the flag was raised for offside despite his fine finish from seven yards out.

Holland, who had been outstanding throughout, scored a superb right-footed effort from 25 yards out as his shot barely left the floor to nestle in the bottom-right corner shortly before the break.

Draper made it two for himself immediately and three for TNS as he steered a header home from 16 yards following Chris Marriott’s cross.

A minute later, the New Zealand international completed is hat-trick, literally throwing his chest at Jamie Mullan’s cross from right and bundling home from a yard out.

Scott Ruscoe rung the changes midway through the second half as Kevin Kauber and Ben Clark replaced Holland and Marriott respectively.

Druids nearly pulled one back on 72 minutes when Matty Owen's wickedly struck left-footed free-kick evaded everyone before striking Paul Harrison's right-hand post.

Brobbel once again probed away for TNS but Michael Jones was equal to his effort on 76 minutes, palming it away for a corner.

After waiting months for his 100th league goal, Draper reached 104 with a fine finish at the near post as Saints capped off a dominant performance.

Saints were denied a clean sheet as Owen found his radar again and he struck a brilliant free-kick into Harrison's top right-hand corner.
