AFTER their great win at Rhyl earlier in the week TNS handed the title straight to the watching Llanelli manager, when they crashed to a shock defeat at Airbus on Friday night.

Saints fielded the same 11 that played so well against Rhyl, but the team was virtually unrecognisable as they put in a poor performance in front of watching Llanelli boss Peter Nicholas, who was en route to Saturday's game at Connah's Quay.

What proved to be the Saints' best effort on goal came in the fourth minute when Scott Ruscoe's corner on the left found John Leah near the corner of the box and his 30-yarder was well tipped over by Airbus 'keeper Chris Doran.

At the other end, a poor clearance fell to Danny Desormeaux whose shot was cleared off the line by Phil Baker.
