Principality Building Society Welsh Premier League
The New Saints 3, Llanelli 0
THE New Saints ended their season on a winning note with a stylish and comprehensive win over newly-crowned champions Llanelli.

Saints players formed a guard of honour to welcome the South Walian champions but that was the extent of their deference as the Park Hall side dominated the game and showed that they mean to win back their title next season.

Llanelli had a shout for a penalty after just two minutes when Saints defender Barry Hogan challenged Chris Holloway in the box but referee Dean John waved away their claims.

Saints created a host of early chances and Mike Wilde had a header tipped over by Llanelli 'keeper Duncan Smith; Carter's header was cleared off the line by Gary Lloyd on 12 minutes and John Leah's swerving 20-yarder was saved by Roberts before they took the lead after half an hour.
