Penparcau claim controversial winner

MATTIE Davies converted a controversial injury-time penalty to stun title chasing Rhayader Town.

Davies had given Penparcau a 21st minute lead before Mike Gornall crossed for Andy Caree to double it.

Rhayader were guilty of wasteful finishing, before Mark Davies was on hand to reduce the arrears on the hour.

Mike Collister looked to have saved a point with a superb 25-yard free-kick, but with just seconds left Davies was adjudged to have been impeded in the area and converted from the spot.
