LLANRHAEADR bid to revive their campaign following a downturn in results this week.

The Tanat Valley club host Flint Town United on Saturday before embarking on a midweek Mid Wales derby at Penrhyncoch.

Player-manager Marc Griffiths said: “Saturday cannot come soon enough for us. We are all disappointed with the results this month and we are keen to put things right.”

Penrhyncoch also bid to return to winning ways following their heavy league cup defeat at the hands of Prestatyn Town last week.

Holyhead Hotspur visit Cae Baker on Saturday before attention turns to the Mid Wales derby against Llanrhaeadr.

Coach Kevin Jenkins said: “If we had to lose any game this season then I suppose the league cup was the one we’d have chosen.

“Of course nobody likes losing games but at the end of the day the league will be the priority for us this season as it always is.”

The Roosters are expected to be boosted by the return of winger Craig Williams and defender Jon Foligno while striker Liam Lewis is also close to full fitness following an ankle injury.

Meanwhile Guilsfield host Buckley Town before travelling to top of the table Airbus UK Broughton in midweek.

Manager Nathan Leonard hopes defender Sam Litchfield will be back to full fitness and provide a timely boost with the villagers experiencing an uncharacteristically poor start to the season.

Leonard said: “It’s big game this Saturday. We need to get back on track and put a string of results together.

“Airbus will be a huge test as they are flying high at the minute. They have a strong squad and whatever team they put out will be a tough game and one where we will have to be at our best.”

Ex Guils striker Asa Hamilton is likely to miss the clash.

Leonard said: “It’s a boost for us as we know his qualities.”
