Oswestry Boys and Girls Football Club U15 girls ended the season in style with victories against Shifnal Europeans 11-0 and Whitchurch 3-2 in the league and competing in two finals in three weeks, both against league winners Shrewsbury Junior colts.
The first saw them edged out 8-7 on penalties, having won all their group games, in the Shropshire U15 futsal cup.
The second saw a thrilling game in the Shropshire league charity cup held at Market Drayton, half time saw them go in at 0-0 in a tight game that saw the Dynamos hit the post. In the second half an early strike from Bethan Jones and a late clincher from Amber Bennett saw the girls lift their first trophy in style. A fitting reward for a group of girls whose progress has been quite remarkable.
