The school has no hall or kitchen and the county council estimate that it would cost more than £27,000 to keep the school at its current condition over the next three years.
Mrs Sarah Edwards is leading an action group to save the school from closure, she said: "We are trying to leave the school as normal as possible so we have formed an action group of parents, friends and anyone interested and affected by the policy.
"We want to build on the strength we have in the village, there is an awful lot of strength and that's what the school represents.
"The school gives every child a chance to succeed.
"The policy documents were flawed and not very easy to comment on, they asked questions like 'Do you want a better school environment?', well of course you do, but not at the expense of small schools," said Sarah.
