Oswestry’s Betty Bromley MBE held her Spring Annual Dance at the Marches School featuring Blackpool Tower Organist, John Bowdler.

Around 100 people enjoyed and danced the night away and the British Heart Foundation benefited from the evening with a superb £1,660 being raised.

Betty Bromley thanked her team and everyone who either attended, donated or supported the raffle.

Warren Appleby, BHF Fundraising Manager for Shropshire said: “Betty and her Oswestry Group continue to make a huge difference with the fundraising they achieve for the British Heart Foundation’s work. Thanks to fundraising like this, a Heart Research project is currently being funded by BHF at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital researching the role of nuclear envelope proteins in cardiac conduction and heart disease.”
